After School Program
We are a licensed childcare facility
and subject to random, unannounced inspections.
We present our childcare as a safe and controlled environment for our children.
With four separate activity areas, children are broken into groups based on age and move to the different areas every 45 minutes.
This keeps the children engaged and occupied during their time with us.

Homework Room
We get homework done!
Students will have the opportunity to complete school assignments in a calm, quiet classroom setting. Our staff is there to assist them with any help they may need.
Please give special assignments from parents to your child’s teacher.
Activities and Crafts
In our activity room, children improve their motor skills, concentration, and social interaction. This room is filled with games and many crafts designed to engage their creativity.
Outside
Our outside playground provides a large area to allow competitive play among our children and enhance gross motor and coordination skill.
Outdoor games include:

We provide lots of extra fun activities and play areas for our children:
Cargo net, climbing tunnel, and rope swings in our Karate Room!

Our childcare is a fun, educational, and safe environment for our children. We encourage productive days with a planned schedule and planned crafts and activities in our individual rooms.
We accept children between
5 years of age and above.
Preschool Program children ages 3 - 5 fully toilet trained
Our Pre-School Program is designed to offer productive days with a planned schedule, including group and classroom time. Constructive play is encouraged. We are now using the STREAMin3 Curriculum!
Manners are a very important part of our daily routine. We teach our children respect for themselves and others. Personal Hygiene is another important lesson for the children here at NorthStar. We require hand washing with soap and water before and after mealtime. We encourage sneezing into a tissue or arm and wiping our noses.
We take great pride in helping our kids learn their names, addresses, and phone numbers. They will have required nap/resting periods each day. We provide a cot for each child.
Overall, we provide a healthy atmosphere which is positive and encouraging. We strongly believe in positive reinforcement, being respectful and acknowledging our friends, and most of all, having fun!
